Final Entry

This class had been such an amazing experience to me. I learned so much from this trimester, from learning to do shutter and aperture settings on my camera to learning to make a DVD portfolio. Before I came to this class I had no idea how to take professional pictures and what was shutter and aperture, but now I can walk out of this classroom knowing how and what to do.

Photo 7

For this photo assignment 7 I did people. I had to take pictures of people's personalities and characteristics. It was actually very easy to take these photos. I think this weeks photos was the funnest to take pictures of.

 

For this photo assignment 7, I learned how to take pictures really fast so it can capture the energy and movement of the persons personality. 

Tutorial

For this assignment we had to find photoshop tutorials online and do the tutorial. I did a see-through ghost tutorial. It was actually very easy to do, but it had so many steps in the making.

Puns

For this photo assignment I had to look 3 puns and just garb some pictures to give some clues. I had to use photoshop to select, copy, and then paste them into each individual page. It was sometimes a little hard to find the perfect pictures to match the puns, but it seemed to work out just fine.

For this photo assignment I learned how to select, copy, and then paste certain pictures into another new page and ten blur them so it all blends together in the whole picture.

Dictionary

For this assignment I had to find 3 words and try to describe and define them by using a lot of pictures. It was rarely easy to find pictures that meet the words definition.  Sometimes it was hard to get the pictures to lend in the backgrounds, but I tried to blend them together by using the blurry tool and just blurred the edges and sides of the pictures.

For this assignment I learned how to use the blurring tool, and re-size photos. It was difficult to get them all the same picture size, but I tried my best. I also learned how to use the dictionary on your desktop.

For this photo assignment 6 I decided to do light and shadow. It wasn't that hard to do, but sometimes it would get to blurry or it wouldn't look like there is much shadows, there was more light.It also was a little easier too, because sometimes you get the light and dark together.

What I learned im this photo assignment 6 was how to capture the light ith the dark (shadows) to combine together. I also learned that it isn't so easy to take the picture because most of time it will be to bright and you cannot see the shadows in the photo or it would be to blurry.

Photo assignemnt 5

For this photo assignment 5, I decided to do black and white. I had to change my camera settings to black and white to see if the subject, I am taking a photo of,  looked good in black and white. Sometimes the photo would come out blurry or had digital noise.

What I learned in this photo assignment 5 process was that its better to have a shadow in the photo to give it some balance. I also learned that black and white isn't that hard, but sometimes the photo gets  blurry.

Context

For this photo assignment I had to do photo context. I had to go to photoshop and and copy and paste the pictures and put them in the right position. I had to find the right photos of characters sitting and put them on a chair.

What I learned for this assignment was how to copy a photo and paste it to another by using photoshop. I also learned how to make the copied and pasted photo bigger or smaller.

Portrait

For this assignment I had to do two types of portrait photos. I had to do a studio portrait and a photo on the white wall with a white card. I thought it was a little easy to get in the right lighting, but hard to get the right placements.

Photo Assignment 4

      For this photo assignment 4,  I did architecture. I took a lot of pictures to get the right ones. It wasn't that hard to get pictures of buildings because most of them are old and unique. I went outside and just took pictures, I noticed that its better to get them on an angle rather than straight up.

I learned that it is not to hard to get the right kind of pictures for architecture. I leanred that it looks btter if you take on an angle rather tan straight.

Photo Assignment 3

For this photo assignment 3, my inspiration was macro.  I thought it would be cool to capture the wet plants outside of the school. Some came out blurry and some came out very clear and detailed. I  had to take a lot of pictures to get the best ones.

For this photo assignment 3 I did macro. I learned how to use the macro setting under manual settings. I also learned that it sometimes comes out very blurry when you zoom in or even put the camera closer to the object of what your trying to capture.

For this photo assignment I will try to capture a zoomed in and clear photo of macro.

Panoramic photo assignment

For this photo assignment I had to take panoramic photos. I had to take five panoramic photos in just a few days. I thought it was very easy to get those pictures.I took like five pictures just to make one panoramic photos.When I uploaded them on Photoshop i just had to click a few buttons and it did one big panoramic photos from those 5 pictures.






In this photo assignment I learned that taking panoramic photos aren't so hard to take. All you need to do is take a few photos straight across and then upload them, click a few buttons and it does the panoramic photos for you.I also learned how to create panoramic photo Photoshop.

Photo assignemnt 2

For this photo assignment I decided to do landscape. I thought it would be more easier to do, but in my case, it wasn't. I had a very hard time trying to get professional pictures because the weather was very bad and it was very windy, but I tried the best I could.

For this assignment I learned that if there is bad weather, you have to make the best out of it and take pictures. Sometimes it turns out even better. I learned how to use the exposure triangle better, and aslo how to take decent pictures in horrible weather.

For this assignment I will try to capture the full landscape image and concept, without getting to much busyness in the background.

photo assignment 1

For this Photo assignment I had to do animals. I decided to take a picture of my Lhasa apso female puppy, Nicky. My puppy is very hipper and crazy so its very difficult to take photos of her. I kept on trying to get the best photos of her doing what shows off her personality. It was very hard to do, but i tried the best i could to take photos that were not so blurry.

I learned that taking photos of animals is very hard becuase they keep moving, but once you get a perfect postion where the animal stays still or actually isnt so hipper then its a perfect time to take the photo.

Car Assignment

For this assignment I had to take a photo that someone had taken and and edit it in photoshop like the demo picture. I had to take the background and pain over it to show the effect in the picture. I also had to tint the windshield, and brush out the little lighting dots on the car.

I learned how to use photoshop in many different and unique ways. I learned how to select and erase the background. I learned how to tint the windshield. I had a few troubles, but overall it was a great experience and process.

Motion

In this assignment I learned how to change the ISO settings and how to change the shutter stop number up to make it darker and down to make it lighter. I also learned how to edit the picture in photoshop.

Insipriation for animals

For this week's assignment I will be focusing on animal activity or nature of the animal. I will try to capture the animals personality and/or emotions.

I would like to have an awesome animal shoot of there personality and characteristics. I hope to accomplish the activity of the animals. I would try to get a good background and not have it be so blurry.

In this assignment we had to learn how to use photoshop. I started from taking a picture from photo booth and cropping, then editing the picture so its in three different colored picture.

From this assignment i learned the process of photoshop and how to edit pictures. I also learned that photoshop is a very easy and handy tool to create nice looking pictures.

Assignment description: For this assignment, I was supposed to take pictures with my school digital camera.I had specific kinds of pictures I needed to photograph, such as; pattern,
symmetry, texture, depth of field, lines, balance, space, color, rule of
thirds, framing,  and perspective. After I take the photos I had to upload

 What you learned:
I learned how to use a digital camera in many different ways. I also
learned that photography can be used in many different techniques, so you can
take a better photograph. Before I never knew that there were so
many different ways to view/take a picture. From now on I will always
use these different techniques to make my photograph look better.
